CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS AND ATMS:

Main credit cards accepted are American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Diners Club. ATM machines are available in Antigua and Barbuda but only in the larger resorts.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE:

Currency exchange varies according to provider. US Dollar and Pound Sterling can be exchanged at some larger shops.

TRAVELLER'S CHEQUES:

It is best to use Travellers Cheques in US Dollars, and these are widely accepted.

CURRENCY RESTRICTIONS:

Restrictions apply on both the import and export of local and international currencies.

BANKING HOURS:

Mon-Thurs 0800-1500; Fri 0800-1300 and 1500-1700.

There are some banks that are open until midday on Saturdays.
