Most credit cards accepted everywhere. ATM machines widely available.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE:

Check in advance if looking to exchange large bank notes as some banks may refuse to do this. Some bureaux de change in Denmark are open until 24.00.

TRAVELLER'S CHEQUES:

It is probably better to arrange travel money in advance but if necessary then travellers cheques are best in Euros, Sterling and US Dollars.

Mon to Wed and Fri 0930-1700 Thurs 0930-1800.

CURRENCY RESTRICTIONS:

There is no restriction on import of both local and foreign currency. Export of local currency is permitted to an amount higher than DKK 50000 as long as it is proved said currency was obtained by conversion of foreign currencies imported. Export of foreign currency is unlimited.
