US dollars are most easily exchanged and this is best done at bureaux de change. This can also be done at larger hotels and airports as well as banks. Note that you will encounter if trying to exchange Sterling.

There is a rich and ancient history associated with Honduras, and it has many ethnicities. Honduras joined the Allied Nations following the Pearl Harbor attacks, in 1941.

The economy of Honduras is surrounded by difficulty due to the large proportion of the population, who live in poverty. Despite this there has been growth in recent years. Unemployment is high and foreign aid necessary.
