Foresters Friendly Society Stocks And Shares ISA With this ISA, saving on a monthly basis or investing a lump sum is possible; you can pay as little as 30 a month by direct debit or invest a lump sum at a minimum of 250. Both are possible, but the limit is 10,680 which cannot be breached in any one financial year.
Annual bonuses may be added to your stocks and shares ISA. The value of these bonuses depends on how much profit the With Profits Fund makes. These bonuses are not guaranteed, and therefore it is possible that you may receive no additional reward.
Unlike some other ISAs, you can access your Foresters Friendly ISA when you want and your money inside it. The minimum withdrawal you can make is 250 as long as the value that remains in your ISA is 250. You can also keep your ISA for as long as you want. There are no time restrictions with this ISA, however it is considered more of a medium to long term investment, and as with all investments, the value can easily fluctuate and therefore there is a possibility that you may not get back the amount of your original investment.
There is however an annual management charge which is set at 2 per cent of the value of your ISA which will be taken into account when applying bonuses. It will not exceed 3 per cent of the value of your ISA in any one year.
