RBS FIXED RATE ISAS REVIEW
RBS Fixed Rate ISAs - ISA
(Which Way To Pay - 7/7/2011)
The RBS Fixed Rate ISA offers tax free savings, available for 1, 2 and 3 year savings terms. Monthly interest is available for the 3 year fixed rate ISA which is exempt from UK income tax. You can transfer in existing cash ISA balances to increase your tax free earning potential. Savings up to 5,340 each tax year can be made with fixed rate ISA.
You can choose to have your interest paid monthly or annually. If you choose to have it paid monthly, you will need to have an RBS current account or certain instant access savings accounts open before you apply. Your monthly interest will go into this account. Annual interest is calculated by the day and will be paid into your Fixed Rate ISA on the last business day of March; and compared with most other ISAs, RBS fixed rate ISAs have high interest rates.
However, withdrawals are not allowed, but it is still an ideal account to have for those who can lock their money away for a while. If you need to access your savings, the ISA account can be closed at an interest charge.
RBS Fixed Rate ISAs is ranked 4 out of 5. Based on 1 review.
