Scottish Friendly My Select - ISA

You can invest up to £15,240 per year into an investment ISA like the Scottish Friendly My Select Investments ISA, minus anything you have put into a Cash ISA. You can split your allocation between a Cash ISA and Investment ISA and also transfer your investment between the two. All of the Scottish Friendly ISAs are Investment ISAs or otherwise known as Stocks and Shares ISAs – Scottish Friendly do not offer Cash ISAs.

The My Select Investment ISA enables you to invest as much as you feel you would like to and allows you to invest monthly by direct debit or by making a single lump sum payment by direct debit. Bear in mind the minimum monthly payment is £10 and the minimum lump sum is £100. You don’t feel you have to commit to the monthly payment that you initial specify as you can stop, restart, raise or lower contributions whenever you like. 

The Scottish Friendly My Select ISA is a long term investment – by this they mean at least 5 years! It is however, a flexible plan that allows you to take money out whenever you would like, however, you should note that there will be a £50 deduction from your cash-in value if you cash in the policy before the end of 5 years. So you do not have to fret about your money if you circumstances change.
