Less accepted are American Express and Diners Club, other main credit cards are accepted in most establishments throughout the country. ATM machines are increasingly accepting international credit cards.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE:

The easiest currency to change is the Euro and the US dollar. The Pound Sterling is rarely used. Besides going to a bureaux de change, there are money exchange machines in Belgrade. Note: Scottish and Northern Irish bank notes are not accepted.

TRAVELLER'S CHEQUES:

These are not widely exchanged. It is therefore better to use cash or cards.

BANKING HOURS:

Mon-Fri 0800-1900, Sat 0800-1500. Some are open on Sunday.
