Please note that the old Turkish Lira (TL) was withdrawn from circulation in 2006.

The most popular credit cards to use are Visa and MasterCard. ATM machines are also widely available.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE:

Easily available at bureaux de change and there will be no commission fee. At banks there may be a fee.

These can only be exchanged at banks. Make sure to bring your passport. These are best Sterling or US dollars.
