Abbey Zero Credit Card

Abbey, part of the Santander Group, offer the Zero Credit Card, aimed at holidaymakers.  It is great for those travelling abroad for their summer holidays because there are no fees on foreign purchases.  There are also no balance transfers.  There are some catches with this card as with any credit card offer - there are high interest rates after the initial free period, ao you could end up being charged around 18% on purchases and balance transfers.

There is also a dormancy fee which is a slight catch for those who only intend to use it for annual or twice-annual holidays.  It is definitely worth reading the small print before choosing any new credit card.
