News Of The World Prepaid MasterCard® also known as the News Of The World Tuxedo Prepaid MasterCard®

News Of The World in conjunction with Tuxedo Money Solutions brings you the Prepaid MasterCard®.  Use like you would use a chip & PIN debit or credit card wherever you see the MasterCard® logo.  Users automatically are set up with the eccount® and can control card usage via text, online or by phone.

You can have more than one card per account so friends and family can access the money loaded on to the card.  New users are sent a welcome pack including a welcome letter, paying in book and user guide which costs £6.49 but are then given £5 cash-back on the card so really the total you pay is £1.49 (fees are slightly higher when ordered via SMS).  You can get a second card free but a third costs £4.99.  There is a maximum card balance allowed of £3000.  There are other features to the card including a range of tariffs - Pay Monthly, Pay Weekly and Free Pay As You Go (PAYG).  Each tariff has differing costs associated with it such as varying transaction fees (free and unlimited in the UK and overseas on Pay Monthly and Pay Weekly).

The NOTW Tuxedo Prepaid MasterCard® is not a debit or credit card so you only use the value that you load on to the card - once the money on the card has run out, you must top it up in order to continue to use it.  See News Of The World website for full details.
