Lloyds TSB Travel Money Card - A handy way to pay when you're away
Travelling abroad?  Then this prepaid Travel Money Card from Lloyds TSB might be a handy and hassle-free way to carry and spend your money.  This is not a debit or credit card although it looks like one - the premise is simple: you pre-load the card with your funds (up to a maximum amount of 3,000) and spend as you wish.  Once the funds have run out, you must top up the card again.  You will have the ability to withdraw up to 250 a day (or the same amount in Euros or US Dollars) at any ATM across the globe that bears the VISA logo.  Note a 1.50 charge applies to each withdrawal, which is not bad compared to some other prepaid travel cards on the market.  It costs just 7.50 to apply for this card - Silver Account holders are exempt from this fee.
As a Lloyds TSB Travel Money Cardholder you will benefit from no comission fees and exchange rates will be fixed at the time of purchasing the card.  You will also have a 24 hour, 7 days a week customer service line at your disposal, which is great especially if you're in a different time zone to GMT!
