Bank of Scotland Travel Money - Better Off Scotland
 
Bank of Scotland, part of the HBOS and Halifax family, offer a Travel Money service with 0% commission on foreign currency and foreign currency travellers cheques.  There is a 1% comission charge on sterling travellers cheques.  Bank of Scotland offer to take care of your travel needs and also once you have returned by buying back unused foreign currency free of charge.  If you have a suitable Bank of Scotland or Halifax account, you can order your foreign currency online or from your nearest branch. 
 
Alternatively they provide the Travelex hotline - call and pay using debit or credit card.  Travellers cheques are provided by American Express so you also benefit from their services (including three special hotlines - 24 Hour Worldwide Refund Service, 24 Hour American Express Helpline, American Express Cal Before You Go Service).  The Bank of Scotland website also offers the Holiday Money Calculator, a great and simple way of working out the exchange rates on the currency you require.
