RAPHAELS PRIVATE BANK REVIEW
Raphaels Private Bank - Foreign Exchange
(Which Way To Pay - 12/6/2008)
When needing to transfer significant amounts of money abroad or making a foreign purchase (ie investing in property, or buying any asset) you can often stand to lose a significant percentage of your money if using a traditional bank. This is because the foreign exchange rate is weighted towards the bank; and you can sometimes also pay a commission or transfer fee.
However if you use specialised currency exchange bank Raphael's; you benefit from having an excellent exchange rate, with only 1% off the Interbank spot rate and no commission. Raphael's also allow you to fix the exchange rate for a future transaction you will be making; so that you are protected from market fluctuations and know in advance exactly what amount you will be needing.
An additional advantage of using Raphaels Bank is that you are using an FSA (Financial Services Authority) and customs and excise regulated bank - thus you providing you with a security buffer. The actual money transfer is also very quick - Upon receipt of cleared funds, transfers to the US & Western Europe usually occur within 24 hours, and you can transfer or buy currency from only 2,500.
Raphaels Private Bank is ranked 5 out of 5. Based on 1 review.
