Scottish Widows provide a competitive pension plan, allowing the holder to save money for retirement in a tax efficient way.

The money you place in your Scottish Widows plan will be used to give you an income when you are retired, and your tax relief is subject to the highest rate you pay.

There are over 100 funds to choose from - a wide selection - yet note that the annual charges and rates vary and there may be a fair few to contend with.  They are not displayed on the Scottish Widows website so make sure you find out what costs are involved before you go for this plan.  Minimum investment is a comparatively low 100 per month.
