BREAD CARD REVIEW
Bread Card - Prepaid Card
(Which Way To Pay - 25/9/2008)
Highly Recommended Card - Good fee structure and usability.

Cost are generally low; no monthly fees, low reload fees and card to card transfer costs - and the only cost of setting up your account is a one off £10 for the card. There are multiple ways to top up funds means managing your balance is easy.

Top up fees are a standard set rate, not a percentage; and are as low as £0.25 using most methods.

The card has competitive fees in comparison to other Maestro cards when withdrawing cash from UK ATM machines (£1.50)

The card can also be purchased by SMS, and with the purchase of a secondary card; money can be easily transferred to relatives abroad simply and effectively using the website.

The application process is also extremely user-friendly and you can enter your passport details online so there is no need to provide further documents.

Purchases do incur a fee of 2%, but there is no nimimum fee per transaction .
