Eclipse Card Pay As You Go - Prepaid Card
(Which Way To Pay - 16/2/2009)
One of two prepaid card options from Eclipse - and this one carries no monthly fee.  This card is better for less frequent use - if you plan to use your card more than around 5 times, it might be better to look at the Eclipse pay monthly card.  Why?  Because the pay as you go card carries a £0.75 fee per usage.
There are many benefits with this prepaid card, and these include:  no credit checks or bank account requirements, free Post Office top up, access to talk2world low cost international calling and free access to the lovecashback® shopping portal.  Added to that, the fact that this card is brought to you in conjunction with MasterCard means that you can enjoy a very wide acceptance level around the globe.
Are there any drawbacks?  Well, you can only use the card for 24 months from the date of application, so enjoy it while you can.  If you intend to withdraw over £600 per annum, you may be subject to ID verification in order to upgrade to the unrestricted card - and said upgrade carries a fee of £4.95.  But this is a small setback and shouldn't affect most customers.  Eclipse is definitely worth a closer look.
Eclipse Pay As You Go Mastercard is ranked 5 out of 5. Based on 1 review.
