The Barclays e-savings account is an exclusive online savings account. You have the ability to move your money between your Barclays accounts in an instant and have complete account management of your account 24 hours a day. The interest rate is 0.10% AER which is pretty typical for instant and easy access. Interest is paid quarterly.
 
This account is worth considering if you need instant access to your funds and you want the ability to transfer funds whenever wish. If you do not need access to your money, it could be worth considering an account which has a higher interest rate.
