TESCO TRAVEL MONEY CARD DOLLAR REVIEW
Tesco Travel Money Card Dollar - Travel FX Card
(Which Way To pay - 14/8/2008)
If you're travelling to the US then Tesco's Travel FX card could well be beneficial. Like alot of other companies Tesco now provides FX crads for a convenient and safe way for you to spend whilst your abroad.
The Card is competitive. With easy, free application and like other pre-paid products, they don't require a credit check. The rates are reasonable, with 0% commission and competitive exchange rates. The various options on loading funds is convenient too.

There are a few other features worth mentioning - the 3 year validity period is handy, meaning it will last more than a few holidays, and the option of a free 2nd card makes it easy for other family members to take advantage. For clubcard members there's an extra bonus, with an extra 100 Clubcard points when you 1st top up.

The main downsides are the replacement costs ($10 for lost/ stolen/ replacement cards) and the fact that only the cardholder may top up funds which could prove inconvenient for certain travellers, or partners.

However, overall it's a fair product that could be especially appealling to current Tesco customers.
Tesco Travel Money Card Dollar is ranked 3 out of 5. Based on 1 review.
