TESCO TRAVEL MONEY CARD EURO REVIEW
Tesco Travel Money Card Euro - Travel FX Card
(Which Way To Pay - 14/8/2008)
Tesco's travel FX card gives you a safe and convenient way to spend whilst you're in the Eurozone.

As a product it's competitive. Application is easy and free, and as with other pre-paid products, you won't need a credit check although you may have to verify your identity.

The rates are good too, with 0% commission and reasonably competitive exchange rates. And there are a few ways to load the funds which is convenient.

Other benefits worth mentioning are the 3 year validity period, so it will last more than a few holidays, and the free 2nd card, making it easy for other family members to take advantage too. For clubcard members there's an extra bonus, with an extra 100 Clubcard points when you 1st top up.

The downsides of this card are fairly minimal - the only one's that spring to mind are the replacement costs (7.50E for lost/ stolen/ replacement cards) and the fact that only the cardholder may top up funds which may be slightly inconvenient for certain travellers.
It is however, a fair all round product that could be especially appealling to current Tesco customers.
Tesco Travel Money Card Euro is ranked 3 out of 5. Based on 1 review.
