TRAVELEX CASH PASSPORT DOLLAR REVIEW
Travelex Cash Passport Dollar - Travel FX Card
(Which Way To Pay - 16/6/2008)
Travelex Cash PassportDollar is a prepaid travel card designed for use in the United States (you can use the card in other nations but will incur a 2% conversion fee.) When you buy the card online, you load it up with funds at that day's exchange rate. The exchange rate will be set when the card is loaded so you are not vulnerable to market fluctuations, and you know exactly how many Dollars you have.
The minimum load is only $200, and the maximum is $9,000, so it is suitable for the budget and big spenders. A second card can be ordered if it is lost or stolen and the card can be topped up online or by telephone.
However on the negative side, the Travelex Cash Passport card cannot be delivered you have to collect it at a Travelex kiosk. Also if you do not use the card in any monthly period you will incur a $3.50 charge. So it is not a good buy if you want to leave funds on the card when you get home and use when you next go abroad. The website shopping process is not perfect either it can be hard to see how to order the card.
Travelex Cash Passport Dollar is ranked 2 out of 5. Based on 1 review.
